Supports direct connection to SIN/COS synchronous sensors (dedicated to compass bearing), supports background calibration of pointer zero point and left/right deflection angle, and the potentiometer on the rear cover can be flipped 180° to adjust the scale direction. It is an outdoor waterproof analog backlit pointer instrument designed specifically for the bridge wing of ships, suitable for open-air, high-humidity, and salt spray environments on both sides of the bridge. It is mainly used for displaying rudder angle, main engine speed, pitch, azimuth angle, and steering rate.

Core Mechanism (X-Coil patented coil)
Accuracy: 0.5 High precision, error ±0.5% FS
Pointer travel: 360° full-angle deflection
Shock resistance: Withstands 50g marine vibration/impact, suitable for turbulent navigation
Backlight: Long-lasting uniform LED white light, visible day and night, supports global dimming bus linkage
Bus: Dual-channel CANopen (sCAN), can be connected to DEIF rudder angle system, XDi main unit, VDR navigation data recorder
Supports direct connection to SIN/COS synchronous sensor (dedicated to compass bearing)
Environmental conditions
Operating temperature: -40℃ ~ +85℃
Storage: -55 ~ +125℃, resistant to marine high and low temperatures and salt spray corrosion
III.
Core technology principle: X-Coil patented coil
Built-in microprocessor controls X-type coil, supports 360° full-range pointer rotation, unlike traditional single-coil instruments;
Accuracy: Class 0.5 (±0.5%) FS)
Supports background calibration of pointer zero point and left/right deflection angle; the potentiometer on the back cover can be flipped 180° to adjust the scale direction.

Key Features
1. Dedicated for Marine Outdoor Use: IP66 fully sealed housing, no exposed terminals, waterproof for long-term outdoor use; all-white scale recommended for better visibility in strong light.
2. Dual Communication Compatibility, Simple System Integration: Can be connected to 4–20mA/0–10V analog sensors individually, or connected to a CAN bus network; one rudder angle transmitter can simultaneously drive multiple BW192, XL, and XDi instruments for unified calibration.

3. Adjustable Pointer Zero Point: The potentiometer on the back panel can flip the pointer zero point 180° (6 o'clock/12 o'clock mode switching), adapting to different ship installation angles.
4. Classification Certification: Standard configuration includes MED marine equipment certification scales and pre-certification of the entire DEIF bridge instrument system, reducing ship classification and auditing costs; custom scales are available (rudder angle ±35°, main engine RPM, propeller pitch, etc.).
5. Flexible Installation: Unlike the wall-mounted BRW-2, the BW192 features a rotatable base, allowing for direct floor mounting when there are no panel openings on the ship's side hull.

Typical Ship Application Scenarios
Rudder Angle Indicator (Most Commonly Used): Paired with the RTC600 rudder angle transmitter, synchronously displays rudder blade angles on both sides of the bridge.
Main Engine/Side Thruster Tachometer, Propeller Pitch Indicator

Compass Bearing, Ship Turn Rate Indicator
Engine Room Extension to Side Flanks: Simulated Pressure and Liquid Level Display
VI.
Installation and Wiring Points
Removing the rear cover requires a T10 long-handled Torx screwdriver; remove the instrument body using the 8 fixing screws.
The blue sealing ring should be flatly embedded in the frame groove with the arc facing outwards; otherwise, the IP66 waterproof rating will be compromised.
When networking multiple instruments via CAN bus, the start and stern terminating resistors must be connected.
If the pointer deflection direction is inconsistent with the system, adjust the potentiometer A on the back panel to reverse it 180° to match the system scale.
VII.
Common Supporting Systems
Rudder Angle System: RTC600 Transmitter → CAN Bus → BW192 Axle Wing Gauge + Cab XDi Digital Gauge;
Power Monitoring: Main Engine Speed Sensor → 4–20mA Analog Signal → BW192 Local Display on Both Wings
